Hi, I’m Fi – and this is my small business, neonneonthings – borne from my love of statement earrings and bright colours. If you see me around, I’m usually a flash of bright. It’s my thing!

It’s also inspired by living by the beach. I’m a Mount Local and I live in Papamoa, in Bay of Plenty, NZ. I love my mornings spent at the beach with my family and my dog – it starts my day right and helps put me into creative mode.

Each piece of transparent neon acrylic has been sourced locally or from Auckland.

For my earrings, I’ve sourced quality sterling silver hooks and only stock this type of fitting and fastening (sorry, we don’t offer a stud with butterfly option), and these come from a small business in Taranaki.

Pretty acrylic things just make me feel happier and these light, bright earrings catch the eye and get compliments wherever I go. Everyone loves a bit of colour and these are like little bursts of happiness for you to wear everyday – ideal for those summer sun vibes and to brighten up a grey day in winter. They suit short or long hair and the drop against the neckline is super sexy. What I love best though, is that our neon colours suit all skin tones so everyone can enjoy wearing them.

The acrylic also makes them super light to wear. I can’t wait for you to try them. Trust me, you’ll want more than one pair once you embrace the neon magic!

I’ve also expanded into homewares too. Once I realised the potential of my transparent neon acrylic and what it can do, so many ideas started flowing. So now I have coasters, wall drops and wall art to brighten up your home. They look amazing with the sun shining through and really catch the colours and the light.

The coasters have become a bit of a sensation – they make a table setting really pop. Perfect on a side table. Or at the office with a coffee. Or out on the deck with your favourite cheeky glass of something. We offer both a bright pink and a stunning iridescent.
